How do magnets work, where do we use them, and why are they so important for our everyday lives and future technologies?
Welcome to GREENE’s “Magnet Experimental Kit”, a collection of interactive activities designed to spark interest in GREENE-related fields of science and support education throughout Europe – for pupils, interested non-experts and the wider public, but also students and junior professionals.
The kit combines 24 activities across six thematic sections and includes activities such as experiments, quizzes, and workshops, all gathered from our partners who have run these experiments themselves.
The activities are organised into the following sections:
- Magnets in Everyday Technology
- Magnets Beyond Technology: Policies & Sustainability
- Basic Magnetism
- Visibility of Magnetic Fields
- How Magnets Create Motion & Electricity
- Further Magnetic Forces
